St. Kevin's Students, Parents, Alums Rally to Save School; Closure Decided
Students chant "Save our school" as parents, alums and parishioners express surprise, shock and disappointment over sudden closure fears. The school will close at the end of this academic year.
Fears of an imminent official announcement from the Archdiocese concerning the closure of Elementary School prompted parents, alums and parishioners to organize a rally Thursday to show their support for the school and its importance to the Springfield community. The school will close at the end of this academic year.
