On Saturday, April 26, 2014, the Springfield Democratic Committee, in recognition of Earth Day, organized crews to clean-up litter and other trash along Springfield Road from Route 1 to Bishop Avenue. The Springfield Democrats perform this service twice a year - around Earth Day in the Spring and Make a Difference Day in the Fall. Thanks to all of those who participated and volunteered their time to give back to our Springfield Community.
