Thousands Sign Online Petition to Save Catholic High Schools

Marianne Crosby of Upper Darby has created an online petition on Change.org in attempt to keep Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast high schools open following the . 

The 16-member Blue Ribbon Commission was appointed in December 2010. The Commission engaged in a yearlong comprehensive and critical review of the Catholic schools and religious education programs before making these recommendations.

Blue Ribbon Commission Chairman Jack Quindlen said at the press conference that the commission was charged with "charting the future course of Catholic education."
