What Are The District's Homework Guidelines?

Springfield School District has homework guidelines for the 2012-2013 school year.

New homework guidelines will take effect starting the 2012-2013 school year.

Last school year, a team of teachers, administrators, students, parents, and a board member formed the District Advisory Team and worked to create a set of homework guidelines to accompany the homework policy.

The advisory team took time to review the policies of neighboring districts, review and discuss research, and conduct a survey of teachers.

Using all the data and information collected, a homework guideline was created that was then approved by the team, administrators, and school board.
