TREDYFFRIN, PA — Weeks after a reported burglary at Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley's house in Tredyffrin, a man accused of a break-in in the neighborhood at that time has been arrested.
Jabir Parker is accused of burglarizing three Main Line homes in the span of a month, culminating with a burglary on the morning of July 18 in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin.
He also stole nearly $800,000 worth of jewelry from homes in Bryn Mawr and Wynnewood, according to the Mongtomery County District Attorney's Office.
In the Tredyffrin incident, authorities say the homeowners interrupted a burglary at around 5:10 a.m.
Tredyffrin Township Police reported an invasion of Barkley's home in the Malvern neighborhood at that time. Police said no similar incidents were reported in the area that morning.
In Wednesday's announcement of Parker's arrest, the District Attorney's Office did not mention Barkley by name.
"We do not identify victims of burglaries or the exact locations where the burglaries occurred in order to protect the victims," a spokesperson for the DA's Office said. "That information has been redacted from the criminal complaint."
An attorney contact for Parker wasn't immediately available in online court records.
