Civil Suit Filed By Conestoga HS Football Hazing Victim's Father, Report Says
A joint statement released last week said all parties involved in the incident wanted "move on with their lives."

The father of the alleged Conestoga High School football hazing victim filed a civil suit in November against the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District and the football coaching staff that was employed when the incident occurred on October 2015.
According to Daily Local News, the suit cites the district’s internal investigation hazing on the football team, which showed there was hazing going on and also mentions the alleged sodomy.
The three players who were accused of sodomizing the victim, which a joint statement from attorneys and the Chester County District Attorney's Office said was actually the victim "briefly poked the victim with a broomstick in the leg," admitted to harassing the victim.

"They have made an admission to the criminal summary offense of harassment," the statement reads, "which makes it a crime to intentionally subject another person to physical contact."
With the three teens admitting to hazing, Daily Local News reports the civil case against the district and coaching staff could be weakened.

The suit also claims more hazing went on among the football team and claims former coaches knew what was happening.
As a result of coaches allegedly knowing hazing was ongoing, the suit claims the alleged victim has suffered "severe mental anguish, humiliation, severe emotional distress."
District Solicitor Kenneth Roos released a statement on the civil case.
“As always and in accordance with student and employee privacy rights under the law, details related to specific student and staff matters will remain confidential," he said. "The District stands by the statements made in the District’s March 17, 2016 letter to the community. Beyond that, we cannot comment on this pending litigation.”
