Shoppers Check Out - Nickels for FLITE at Devon Whole Foods - Help Kids in T/E

The Foundation for Learning In Tredyffrin/Easttown, FLITE, has been selected to receive funds from Whole Foods Markets Devon via this organization’s Nickels for Nonprofits campaign. From July 7 through September 28, 2014, FLITE will receive 0.5 cents every time a Devon shopper brings a reusable shopping bag and chooses to have FLITE receive the nickel saved by the store.

Alexandra Boardman, marketing team leader Whole Foods Market Devon, said, “At Whole Foods Market, we’re committed to donating 5% of our profits back to nonprofits in our communities. The team members in our Devon store selected FLITE for its commitment to education and in leveling the playing field in our immediate community. We are very grateful for all that they do and are proud to be able to support them this quarter through our Nickels for Nonprofit program.”

"FLITE is grateful to have the support of Whole Foods Market Devon through the Nickels for Nonprofits program," said Paige Skelly co-chair of FLITE’s development committee. "We are pleased that their employees chose FLITE to receive this donation and that they are committed to supporting students of the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. With the help of community partners like Whole Foods Market Devon, we can continue to provide academic help to local children in need."
