TESD Teacher, Student 3D Print Coronavirus Face Shields
A Conestoga High School teacher and student have been making face shields for the Berwyn Fire Company and other coronavirus responders.
BERWYN, PA — While school is out, a Conestoga High School teacher and senior have been working hard to provide protective gear to those facing the coronavirus threat.
CHS teacher Noah Austin and senior Tyler Bladgen have provided nearly 80 face shields for Berwyn Fire Company and other first responders as they work during the COVID-19 crisis.
Austin and Bladgen used a 3D printer to make 78 face shields for responders.

The teacher-student pair are among others around the greater Philadelphia area that have used 3D printing technology to provide local responders with protective gear amid the pandemic.
Lower Merion Schools used their 3D printing technology to make face shields, and a Wallingford Swarthmore School District also used 3D printers to make face shields.

Austin said he will continue to make more masks if the first responders need them.
