Tredyffrin/Easttown Teachers Picket Monday Board Meeting

The teachers union and the district have been battling for a new contract since January and entered a fact finding period recently.

BERWYN, PA – The educators in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District showed up to the regular School Board meeting on Monday, Sept. 25 for a picket line regarding the ongoing contract negotiations, as the Tredyffrin/Easttown Education Association (TEEA) and the district are locked in a contract battle.

The TEEA, which represents the teachers in the district, had its members out in force ahead of the board meeting at Conestoga High School Monday evening.

The two parties have been working on establishing a mutually beneficial contract since July, when the former contract expired.
