• Mid Valley to host Coaches vs. Cancer 'Rally in the Valley' (thetimes-tribune.com) — Residents can join a full-day Coaches vs. Cancer "Rally in the Valley" at Mid Valley High School's Spartan Stadium in Throop this Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event features soccer games, raffles, local vendors, and emotional stories from cancer survivors and families, all focused on raising funds and support for those affected by cancer.
