Animal Angel Campaign Collects more than $1,500 in Supplies for Homeless Pets at Area Shelters

Local animal lovers showed their concern for homeless dogs and cats this holiday season by donating more than $1,500 worth of food, supplies, toys and treats to Best Friends Pet Care’s annual Animal Angel Tree campaign. All donations will go to help the homeless pets cared for by The Beagle Rescue League of Morrisville, Wet Nose Rescue of Feasterville and Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia.
“We are thrilled with the response of our clients and friends to this year’s Angel Tree campaign,” said Kelly Pike, manager of Best Friends Pet Care in Willow Grove. “Holiday season is always difficult for our local shelters and we know these donations will make a difference for many pets in need.”
Best Friends offers boarding, grooming and doggy day camp at 1150 Easton Road in Willow Grove and at 40 other locations across the U.S. The Animal Angel Tree campaign, now in its 12th year, is one way the company gives back to the community. Since the campaign began, it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of food, toys and pet care products for more than 100 different shelters and rescues across the U.S. For more information visitwww.bestfriendspetcare.com.
