Montgomery County Emergency Service (MCES) will kick off its 19th Annual Lecture Series later this month.
The series, which is open to the public, includes 15 lectures that address important issues in mental health. The lectures are intended to decrease the stigma surrounding mental illness, promote an understanding of what behavioral health has to offer and foster personal growth.
The series begins with “A Rising Tide: Baby Boomer and Suicide Risk” on May 30 at 8:30 a.m. Later that day, a lecture on “Suicide by Proxy” will be presented.
