Upper Moreland High School senior Saige Wenik received the December Student of the Month Award from Willow Grove Rotary President, Mr. John Douglass. The Student of the Month award is sponsored by the High School’s faculty and the Willow Grove Rotary Club to highlight student excellence and service. Saige is a member of Key Club, the Yearbook Staff, National Honor Society, and is the Secretary / Treasurer of Student Council. Saige is a member of the track team, was the Captain of the field hockey & swim team. In addition, Saige runs on the Track Team. Outside of school Saige is a lifeguard and Junior Coach for the Hatboro YMCA Swim Team. Saige is a Junior Staff member for their International Leaders Club, a service orientated group who works on character-building activities and organizing club projects. Next fall Saige plans on attending school in the Washington, DC area with an interest in Politics and Criminal Justice.
