Rodney Long, Music Director at First Presbyterian Church, will present an organ recital planned to appeal to a variety of musical tastes, including works by Jongen, Albinoni, Vierne, Part and Bach.
In addition to earlier performances at First Presbyterian, Mr. Long has given recitals at Abington Presbyterian Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, Copley Square, Boston MA, and at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. A native of Charlottesville,Virginia, he began his study of
the organ and performing for church services at the age of fifteen. He has studied at Westminster Choir College,
Peabody Conservatory of Music, and the University of Laverne, Kifissia, in Athens, Greece.
