KKK Flyers Spread Once Again In Montgomery Co. Town
"While there are no specific laws that prohibit this activity...it has no place in our community."

ABINGTON, PA — Once again, literature promoting hate speech connected to the Ku Klux Klan has been distributed around Abington.
It's the third time since September that similar flyers have been spread in the local area.
Police said that in the latest case, the flyers were thrown from moving cars during the night.

In a statement, Abington Police Chief Patrick Molloy strongly condemned the flyers.
"While there are no specific laws or Township Ordinances that prohibit this activity, and such hateful speech is protected by our First Amendment, it has no place in our community," he said. "I sincerely regret that these racist individuals and organizations have caused unnecessary alarm and fear to many of our residents, especially those who have historically been targets of hate and discrimination."
