Growth Opportunity Center (GOC) is a long‑standing nonprofit mental health organization based in Southampton, proudly serving Bucks County, Montgomery County, Northeast Philadelphia, and the Greater Philadelphia region. For more than 50 years, GOC has been committed to providing accessible, high‑quality mental health services that help individuals and families build healthier, more connected lives.<br /><br />Our mission is to provide compassionate, effective care that empowers people to transform life's challenges into opportunities for growth.<br /><br />GOC offers a wide range of outpatient services, including individual therapy, family and couples therapy, group counseling, and psychiatric services. Our clinicians support people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. We also provide psychological and psychoeducational testing, helping individuals and families gain clarity around learning differences, attention challenges, and diagnostic questions.<br /><br />In addition to traditional therapy, GOC offers specialized programs designed to meet the evolving needs of the community. Our new Attention &amp; Executive Function Coaching Program supports youth, teens, and adults who struggle with focus, planning, organization, time management, and follow‑through. Coaching is available through individual sessions, small‑group formats, and one‑time workshops that teach practical, real‑life strategies for school, work, and home.<br /><br />Across all services, GOC is known for its warm, supportive, and person‑centered approach. <p>Medication Take Back Day is Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10 am - 2 pm! This year’s Take Back event will feature 48 public collection sites throughout the county. Simply walk or drive up and drop in any unused, unneeded or expired medications for safe disposal.</p>

<p>In addition to prescription medications, law enforcement officers will be collecting over-the-counter and pet medications, vitamins, vaping products and more. Plus, select sites throughout the county will be collecting medications and sharps and distributing Narcan on April 25! <p>Bring your family and friends to the Purcellville Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 7 p.m. rain or shine. This free, family-friendly event will be held at Fireman’s Field Park and inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink at 250 South Nursery Avenue.

<p>Enjoy a full day of live music and performances across multiple stages, along with an art exhibit, games, chalk art, and a variety of interactive activities. Browse offerings from local vendors featuring handcrafted goods, food, beverages, and more. There will be fun for all ages, including face painting, glitter tattoos, sidewalk chalk art, and t-shirt or tote bag decorating. Local non-profits will also be on-site sharing information and resources. Special activities will highlight and celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence.<br>
</p><p>Inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink—transformed into the Art Hall—you’ll find more than 30 works of art, live performances, art demonstrations, and hands-on activities including quilt square decorating and an Instrument Petting Zoo. Be sure to pick up a festival scavenger hunt booklet and complete it for a chance to win a prize!<br>
