Dave Benner was a professor of Ornamental Horticulture for 22 years at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. He is widely known for his pioneering work in developing moss gardens to replace grass in shady areas. Dave and Sue Benner's property has been featured in numerous magazines, including Architectural Digest, Country Gardens, American Nurseryman, and Brooklyn Botanical Gardens' publication entitled "The natural Lawn." This program is part of our Sunday Speaker Series that explores current issues on land and wildlife.
The cost of the program is $10 per person, $5 for BCAS members, and $3 for students with ID. The programs take place at Bucks County Audubon Society's Honey Hollow Environmental Education and Visitor Center, 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA 18938.
