Holland Businessman Sentenced For Not Paying Employment Taxes
Theodore Harris, who owned and operated a janitorial business in Huntington Valley, failed to collect and pay $93,000 in employment taxes.

A Holland businessman has been sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison and ordered to pay $378,777 in restitution for his failure to pay employment taxes owed for employees.
Theodore Harris, who owned and operated Clean Tech, a janitorial business in Huntington Valley, failed to collect and pay $93,000 in employment taxes owned for his employees, the IRS said.
Harris’ prison term will be followed by three years of probation.

According to the IRS, between Jan. 1, 2007 and Jan. 31, 2008, Harris “willfully” failed to collect and pay the employment taxes. He pled guilty to the charges in Nov. 2013.
