No Waiting at Polls in Upper Southampton
Rain and lack of interest were blamed for Tuesday's low voter turnout in Upper Southampton.
Voter turnout in Upper Southampton was low, even for a mid-term election said long-time local election watchers.
At 7 a.m. when the polls opened at Stackpole Elementary School only two voters were seen entering the building to cast their ballot.
Bucks County Commissioner Charles Martin, of Upper Southampton, said that turnout was light across the county.
Upper Southampton’s 10 voting districts are divided among four polling places across the township.
