The Executive Youth: The Critical Role of Strategies in Guiding Academic and Life Success

In his presentation, Dr. Goldstein, neuropsychologist, educator, and co-author of the Comprehensive Executive Functioning Inventory and Handbook of Executive Functioning, will provide an overview of historical and current theories and definitions of executive function.

·   Review current research reflecting the core issues that compromise these functions and review behaviors considered characteristic of EF.

·   Examine an overview of an extremely large scale study he and colleagues have completed demonstrating the powerful role strategy plays in determining school performance and behavior.

·   Learn about current strategies and modalities to enhance all students’ school success.
