It has been such a long time since I wrote anything! I have been doing calligraphy, just not writing about it.
The wedding season is in full swing and my studio is full of boxes of envelopes. I love addressing envelopes, there is someting very relaxing about a stack them waiting to be written and the radio on in the background.
It is always interesting to see how far away they are going ... I have just written some that will now be winging their way to Japan and Australia. Will those guests make the journey to Pittsburgh or will they decline the invitation? I'll never know.

It is also art market time again with all the panic and pressure that brings. I am working on some new canvases to sell but they are still on the drawing board. I can't quite decide what to do with them. I'll keep you posted, but for now it's back to my envelopes.
