The program will be a presentation by Master Gardner, Ron Boron. Ron practiced general surgery for over 30 years at Mercy and Jefferson Hospitals. Upon retirement in 2007, he discovered more time to devote to one of his life long interests, gardening.
Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by Penn State Cooperative Extension (PSCE). Once they complete their training, Master Gardeners help PSCE better serve the home gardening public by participating in civic beautification, maintaining demonstration gardens, teaching plant sciences and horticulture, and in many other ways.
