MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run Contest

The Community & Recreation Center will be hosting an upcoming MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run contest on Sunday, April 28th, 2013 at 1:00 PM.  A rain date of May 5th, 2013 will be scheduled if necessary.


This is a free event open to boys & girls ages 7-14 years old, and will be held on the Boyce Mayview Park baseball and softball fields.


Participants will compete in three catagories:

Find out what's happening in Upper St. Clairfor free with the latest updates from Patch.


Pitch- Each competitor will recieve six chances to hit the designated strike zone.


Hit- All participants will have three attempts to hit from a stationary batting tee for distance and accuracy.

Run- Competitors will be timed sprinting from a starting line behind second base, rounding third, and crossing home plate.

Registration forms are available at the C&RC control desk or go to www.livesmarterplayharder.org to download a copy.  


Registration in advance is recommended, however participants may also register the day of the event starting at 12 PM.
