Mourning Our Losses Across the Life Cycle

Lillian Meyers will share her personal and professional experience of dealing with grief and loss. Lillian’s son was killed in a car accident in his senior year at Bethel Park High School in 1981. Despite all her mental health training, nothing prepared her for this loss. Lillian found comfort through an organization called “The Compassionate Friends”, and thus began her journey in helping others that are grieving.

Whether you’re experiencing a loss yourself due to a death or a life transition, caring for someone who is grieving, or just want to know the right words to say to someone who has experienced a loss, Lillian will help guide you through it.
