Through hands-on lab experiments, field trips to Pittsburgh’s research and industry facilities and meetings with scientists in the field, students gain insight into a broad range of opportunities. New this year: spend 1 night in the dorms!

Environment, energy, and sustainability—three core themes to be familiar with when pursuing a career in environmental and green sciences. This three-day program will focus on one theme each day. Participants will visit with professionals at several Pittsburgh area sites, exploring an urban farm and gaining firsthand knowledge about new and emerging opportunities right here in our region. New this year: spend 1 night in the dorms!
