Frugal Family: This Week's Deals

We are all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollar. 

Here is a look at five ways you can save some money this week:

1. Tuesday Morning Storytime
The Barnes & Noble at the South Hills Village Mall offers a storytime every Tuesday at 11 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to the free event in the Children's department.

2. "Pay-What-You-Can" Yoga
Human Race Yoga  offers  a comprehensive "pay-what-you-can" program to make yoga accessible everyone. The classes are available at the every Tuesday 7 p.m.

3. Snugglebugs Spring 2011 Consignment Sale
Customers can save up to 90 percent off retail prices. Those who are looking to consign can earn 70-75 percent of their personal sales and can earn more money by helping with the event. The sale is happening in the former Value City Store on Curry Hollow Road. Take part in the sale March 24-26.

4. South Hills Nurseries Retirement Sale
South Hills Nurseries on Washington Road is shutting its doors for good on March 31. Everything is 40-75 percent off as the owners try to clear the site. Coldwell Banker office will reportedly replace the nursery site.

5. Pier 1 Imports Sale
A closing sale is happening now at the Pier 1 Imports.  will gain ownership of the Washington Road location soon.
