2,200 Pounds Of Food Collected During Warminster Food Bank Drive

WARMINSTER, PA —The "Stuff the Pumpkin" drive collected 2,200 pounds of food, the Warminster Food Bank has announced.

And as that food drive closes, another begins on Tuesday.

The food bank and Miller's Ale House in Willow Grove are teaming up for a Thanksgiving Food Drive that runs through Nov. 21 with all donations going to the food bank.

All donations should be made at Miller's Ale House, 2300 Easton Rd., Willow Grove.

  • Juice and juice boxes
  • Ready to serve soups
  • Mustard and ketchup
  • Boxed cereal
  • Coffee and tea
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Mayonnaise
  • Canned meats and stew
  • Pancake mix and syrup
  • Instant mashed potatoes
  • Salsa and taco shells
  • Chili and Manwich
  • Refried beans
  • Store gift cards
  • Toilet paper
  • Laundry detergent

The Warminster Food Bank serves over 800 individuals/200 families each month and more than 7,500 individuals and 1,800 families each year.

The food bank was recognized in September for its work in eliminating hunger in local communities by Giant Food Stores.
