3 Catalytic Converter Thefts, Drug Bust Top Warminster Crimes

WARMINSTER, PA —Police reported three thefts of catalytic converters along East Street Road in the past month.

Those were some of the criminal incidents the Warminster Township Police Department reported in its police blotter of criminal incidents for the period of Feb. 27 to March 18.

Public Drunkenness —On Feb. 28 around 7:53 p.m., police responded to the area of the Burger King for a known unwanted subject. Upon arrival, police found the man to be intoxicated. The 35-year-old Hatboro man was cited for public drunkenness and taken to a hotel where he was currently staying.

Violation of Protection Court Order —Police investigated an alleged violation of a valid protection order issued by the Court. After the investigation, a 35-year-old Warminster man was charged with the violation of the court order.

Possess Drugs w/ Intent to Deliver, Receiving Stolen Property Arrest —On Feb. 28, around 8:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Surrey Road for items taken from a vehicle. While investigating, officers located a suspect at another address nearby. Officers identified objects in the man's possession as some of the items that were taken in the theft. The 32-year-old Philadelphia man was also found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed for possession with intent to deliver narcotics, possession of narcotics and paraphernalia, and theft-related charges. The man was found to have active arrest warrants out of Philadelphia and Bucks County as well.

Disorderly Conduct and Harassment —Police responded to the area of the 700 block of West Street Road for a disturbance. After investigating a 21-year-old Warminster woman was cited with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Harassment —On March 3, at around 6:30 p.m., police received a report of an incident that had just occurred in the area of the 400 block of York Road. After investigating, both parties were advised not to have further contact with each other. A 41-year-old Warrington man was also cited with harassment.

Disorderly Conduct and Harassment —Police received a report of an altercation between two juveniles. After investigating, a 17-year-old Warminster man was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct Arrest —Police received a report of damage done to a fence at a local establishment on York Road by a subject. After investigating, a 34-year-old Warminster man was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Theft Arrest —After completing an investigation and identifying a suspect, police filed charges against a 32-year-old Warminster man for theft of Amazon packages from the 100 block of East Street Road that had occurred previously.

Retail Theft Arrest, Trespassing, and Related Offenses —Police charged a 35-year-old Warminster man with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and trespassing after completing an investigation that was reported by Walmart on East Street Road.

Driving Under the Influence Arrest —Police investigated a traffic accident at the intersection of Street and York roads. One driver, a 42-year-old Warrington man was charged with driving under the influence.

Retail Theft Arrest —After completing an investigation and identifying the suspect, police charged a 68-year-old Doylestown man with retail theft. The theft occurred at the Weis Markets located on York Road in Warminster.

Disorderly Conduct —Police completed an investigation into an altercation that occurred between two juvenile females. A 17-year-old Warminster teenager was cited with disorderly conduct for her actions during the altercation.

Catalytic Converter Theft Investigation —On March 7, police received reports of two catalytic converters that were stolen from an apartment complex located on the 600 block of East Street Road possibly during the overnight hours. One vehicle was a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander and the other was a 2006 Toyota Prius.

Theft from Unlocked Vehicle —On March 7, police took the report of a theft of items and cash from a reportedly unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours that was parked on the 600 block of East Street Road in a local apartment complex parking lot.

Catalytic Converter Theft Investigation —On March 13, police received a report of a catalytic converter that was stolen from a vehicle possibly between March 8 and March 11. The vehicle, a 2003 Ford F250, was parked at an apartment complex located on the 600 block of East Street Road.
