4 Police Officers Will Be Hired In Warminster In New 5-Year PBA Deal
After approving a new five-year police contract, the Warminster supervisors are authorizing the township manager to proceed with hiring.

WARMINSTER, PA —The township is moving to hire four new officers for the Warminster Township Police Department.
At its recent meetings, supervisors unanimously ratified a new agreement with the Warminster Police Benevolent Association on a new five-year deal. Terms were not disclosed.
Supervisors Chairman Kenneth Hayes said the new contract came six weeks earlier than expected.

"I'm thrilled to death our officers sat down with us and had open and honest dialogue and got it done. My congratulations to you guys," Hayes said.
The contract runs from Feb. 1, 2023 to Jan. 30, 2027.

"I was on that negotiating committee," Hayes said. "There were a few rough spots as always with negotiations. You guys recognized what our situation was. There were no hidden agendas. You guys really did help us in ratifying this contract to make this a positive effort to have a sustainable police department for the near future."
Hayes said now that the contract has been approved, supervisors were authorizing Township Manager Tom Scott to proceed with the hiring of four new police officers.
