42-Home Development Approved In Warminster
The 42-home development will be constructed at Ivyland and Mearns roads, which is currently farmland.

A 42-home development will be constructed at Ivyland and Mearns roads, after the Warminster Township Board of Supervisors approved the proposal last week.
The plans include the construction of 42 single-family homes on the 21-acre property, which is currently farmland.
The applicant sought conditional use approval to remove the existing structures on the site and construct the detached homes.

The vote to approve the community was 3-2 and was taken in front of a standing-room only crowd, who had concerns about traffic and the loss of open space, The Intelligencer reported.
As part of the project, a right-turn lane will be added from northbound Mearns Road to Ivyland Road, the Intelligencer report noted.
