BUCKS COUNTY, PA âWe honor some great Americans over this three-day holiday weekend.
So let's start this edition of Bucks County's weekend events by paying tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy, with his federal holiday on Monday.
The Michener Museum in Doylestown is holding a Day of Service Sunday regarding Dr. King. Meanwhile, the Peace Center of Langhorne has a summit for MLK also that day.

With all the rain lately, we haven't seen much ice. But you can do so at Peddler's Village once again this weekend with another round of the Fire & Frost festivities.
Let's not forget to check out the holiday lights at Shady Brook Farm in Lower Makefield Township. Now is the perfect time to go with the holidays over.

Last Chance For Peddler's Village Fire & Frost Fun
Peddler's Village in Lahaska will become a winter wonderland during Fire & Frost Fun â four magical evenings filled with frosty masterpieces and fiery performances. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings, and features dozens of ice sculptures (including an ice throne and bar), ice carving demonstrations, fire artistry, a scavenger hunt, and outdoor food and drinks. Benjamin Franklin Coming To Warminster on Saturday
He's an inventor, a signer of the "Declaration of Independence" and a Founding Father of our nation. Ben Franklin is coming to Warminster Township Saturday. The Warminster Library and Ben Wilson Senior Center are teaming up to host a Benjamin Franklin re-enactor just in time for the famous Philadelphianâs 318th birthday. Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show Through Jan. 27
It might be the show of shows in Bucks County. There's still time to catch the annual Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show in Lower Makefield Township which features "millions of dazzling lights" that can be seen via a vehicle drive-through, a wagon ride, and even a private wagon ride. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Of Service Sunday
Join the Michener Art Museum in learning about the remarkable work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. All participants are asked to bring new or gently used clothing and shoes, or new undergarments and socks. Participants will also create collages with uplifting messages to be shared with the community members attending the Community Peace Meals. The free event is Sunday, one day before the federal holiday.
Meanwhile, The Peace Center in Langhorne, is sponsoring an "MLK Teen Peace and Social Justice Summit" on Sunday. The summit will take place in Keller Hall Auditorium of Pennsbury High School West Campus. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Roundup Of Other Fun Events This Weekend
Sometimes it's hard to list five or six events. Some places are offering worthy events too. So we figured we'd mention a handful. Perkasie holds a winter farmers market on Saturday at the Perkasie Fire Hall. The Borscht Belt in Newtown brings it back to yesteryear with a Catskills Comedy Nosh show and dinner on Saturday. Yardley holds its second Saturday of fun events from 8 a.m. to midnight. New Hope has history walking tours at the Perry Mansion every Sunday.
