5 Fun Things To Do In Eastern PA This Weekend

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA —A double-billing of Classic Rock acts is coming to Camden on Sunday. One of the biggest car shows in the Philadelphia region takes place in Montgomery County on Saturday. And "The Magic of Burpee" takes place in Doylestown.

These are some of the events this weekend in Eastern Pennsylvania:

The Magic of Burpee On Display In Bucks County

The W. Atlee Burpee Company will open its Doylestown gardens to the public on Saturday for a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse at the magic of Burpee. Historic Fordhook Farm, where it all began for the international seed producer nearly 150 years ago, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Burpee Open, a free event showcasing Burpee’s seed breeding and trial operations at 105 New Britain Road in Doylestown Township. Visitors can take in the beauty and abundance of the farm’s extensive Kitchen, Heirloom, Veranda, and Happiness gardens in addition to its unique Stumpery featuring shade-loving shrubs, perennials, and trees. Styx and Foreigner Playing In Camden On Sunday

Legendary Classic Rock bands Foreigner and Styx will play the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Sunday. Foreigner is on its "Farewell Tour" and will be playing its final show in the Philadelphia area. The group will be joined by the Hatboro-Horsham High School choir during its performance of the No. 1 song "I Wanna Know What Love Is" during its concert. John Waite is the opening act. Moonlight Memories Car Show Celebrates 31 Years

It's one of the most popular car shows in Eastern Pennsylvania.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce will hold its 31st Annual Moonlight Memories Car Show from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., rain or shine, on Saturday, in the downtown business district of York Road. The free, family-friendly event will showcase about 400 specialty autos, muscle cars, and trucks that will line up both sides of York Road. (Read More on Patch)

Wine on the Waterfront in Historic Washington Crossing

The 7th Annual Wine on the Waterfront returns to the banks of the Delaware River at 1112 River Road in Washington Crossing on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. At this tasting event, sip on wine from a number of Pennsylvania and New Jersey wineries, savor food in a relaxing atmosphere, and hear songs from a local jazz musician while supporting Washington Crossing Historic Park.
