EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, PA —With residents going to the polls in Tuesday's general election, it might not be a bad idea this weekend to brush up on a little history.
There are two ways to do that in Philadelphia this weekend.
You can catch the first national tour of "Hamilton" at The Academy of Music in Philadelphia this weekend. It's a play about one of the nation's Founding Fathers.

"Hamilton" Featured At The Academy of Music
The biggest Broadway show since "The Book of Mormon has hit the road on its first-ever national tour and it's playing at The Academy of Music in Philadelphia. "Hamilton" is a true landmark of American culture. The story centers on Alexander Hamilton, one of the country's most important characters, who rose from his humble orphaned beginnings to play a major role in making America the country it is today. Peddler’s Village Welcomes Apple Season With Weekend Festival
Peddler’s Village in Lahaska will celebrate apple season with a two-day festival on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The 49th Annual Apple Festival will bring to the village live entertainment, family activities, apple-inspired food and drinks, and a selection of baked goods, including lattice apple pies that will be available for pre-order. Brubeck Brothers Quartet At Zlock Performing Arts Center
Chris and Dan Brubeck have been making music together practically all their lives and they will appear at the Zlock Performing Arts Center in Newtown at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Drummer Dan and bassist, trombonist, and composer Chris cut their first record together in 1966. They’ve subsequently played a variety of styles in several different groups, as well as with their father, jazz giant Dave Brubeck, and with their Brubeck Brothers Quartet. Pedro From "Napoleon Dynamite" To Campaign In Doylestown
Doylestown's wildest dreams are about to come true. Actor Efren Ramirez, who stars as the shy, foreign exchange student Pedro in the 2004 indie hit comedy, "Napoleon Dynamite," is bringing his "campaign" for class president to Doylestown this weekend. (Read More)
