BUCKS COUNTY, PA —It's the time for parades. But before we get ready for the thrills of Thanksgiving Day floats and holiday parades around Bucks County and the region, Saturday's parades will be ones for remembrance and paying our respects to those who have made the sacrifice of service for our country.

Several Bucks County towns will hold Veterans Day parades, services, ceremonies, and other events to commemorate this special holiday for our nation on Saturday. They include Yardley, and Northampton Township, among others.

For those who are veterans and are reading this, thank you for your service. For those who are families of veterans, check out this story on how veterans can eat free at numerous places on Saturday and take them to breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
