86th Annual Bucks-Mont Oktoberfest In Warminster
The German festival takes place on Saturday at the VE club on Davisville Road. German food, culture and beer are among the festivities.

WARMINSTER, PA —The longest-running German festival in Bucks and Montgomery counties celebrates October a little early this weekend.
The 86th annual Bucks-Mont Oktoberfest takes place starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vereinigung Erzgebirge, the German-American Sports & Social Club at 130 Davisville Rd.
The festival runs until 10 p.m. Admission is $10 admission at the door and $7 for advance ticket sales at the VE office.

The festival features German music all day, and Rock and roll all night, organizers said. Besides food and beer, there are soccer games, a keg tapping ceremony, a moon bounce, clowns, face painting, kickball, arts and crafts, and a "thriller" obstacle course.
There's accordion music with Billy Aust and Don Bitterlich, music by the Bratwurst Boys and the Philadelphia Brass Band, a parade and anthems, and dance performances.
