Archbishop Wood High School Theater Department presents Meet Me In St. Louis from Friday, December 5th through Sunday, December 7th.

Archbishop Wood High School Theater Department presents Meet Me In St. Louis from Friday, December 5th through Sunday, December 7th in the Sophia A. Friedman Auditorium at Archbishop Wood High School, 655 York Road, Warminster PA.
The story of the day-to-day life and romantic entanglements of the Smith family of St. Louis first appeared in a series of vignettes published in New York Magazine in the early 1940s. Random House then compiled these stores, written by real-life member of the Smith family, Sally Benson, into the 1941 novel Meet Me In St. Louis. The story was made famous in the 1944 MGM musical of the same name starring Judy Garland. The stage show was adapted in 1990, and includes many additional songs, but old favorites remain in tact, including “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “The Boy Next Door,” and “The Trolley Song.”
Shows are at 7:30pm Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th, and at 2pm Sunday, December 7th. Tickets are $12 in advance, $8 at the door. Group discounts are available for groups of more than fifteen people. For tickets and more information, email ABWtickets@gmail.com .
