BREAKING: Jill Stein's Pennsylvania Presidential Election Recount Effort Blocked

Stein's camp filed a federal lawsuit a week ago in Pennsylvania and called the state's election system a "national disgrace."

The recount effort in Pennsylvania is over. A federal judge blocked Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein's bid for recounts in Pennsylvania, according to AP reports.

Stein filed a federal lawsuit last week to have Pennsylvania's votes recounted, and a hearing was scheduled Friday. Stein's lawsuit called the state's election system a "national disgrace" and cited First and 14th Amendment violations.

On Dec. 4, Stein's camp said it was going to "escalate" the recount campaign in the Keystone state after reportedly dropping a recount petition due to lacking funds needed for the effort.
