Bucks Beer Bash Helps Support Community Charities
Organizers said that $3,000 has been donated to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The Bucks Beer Bash is sold out Saturday.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Bucks Beer Bash is sold out for 2024 so beer enthusiasts will have to wait to soak up the suds until next year.
The event on Saturday at The Fuge, though, isn't just about beer. Beer festivals have a history of supporting local charities and the Bucks Beer Bash is no exception, organizers said.
Event host and CEO of The Fuge Sam Cravero envisioned an event that not only allows attendees to celebrate the community of local craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries but also creates a way to give back to a worthy local organization.

His event team reached out to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) not only because of the excellent work they have done as a leader in pediatric healthcare, research, and education but also because of the heartfelt stories from families whose sick children were made well through their outstanding care and treatment.
“People who live in this area are so lucky to have an incredible world-renowned resource like CHOP available to families who need their special care, it was a clear choice for us to invite them to be our charitable partner,” Cravero said.

The Beer Bash has pledged that a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit CHOP and even structured the Bash format to help maximize that contribution.
But Cravero wasn’t the only one who felt the need to help.
Newtown-based Inspire Federal Credit Union agreed to be the title sponsor of the Beer Bash and, in turn, recently donated $3,000 to CHOP as part of their involvement with the event.
“Inspire Federal Credit Union prides itself on our commitment to strengthen communities within our footprint, not only through banking relationships but just as importantly through sponsorships and partnerships that make a difference for everyone,” Inspire CEO Jim Merrill said.
“There is no better way to strengthen our community than to help further the mission of CHOP – supporting healthcare for children and help find cures for pediatric illnesses.”
“We are thankful to the Bucks Beer Bash and Inspire Federal Credit Union for their generous support of the Children’s Fund at CHOP,” said Jenna Bundy, Senior Associate Director of Community and Partnership Events at CHOP.
“Whether it’s to ease the financial burden on patient families, fast track a research discovery or provide healthcare resources to members of the Philadelphia community and beyond, the Children’s Fund enables the critical work we do to improve children’s lives. Philanthropic donations power treatments and innovations and Inspire FCU’s support will enable us to continue closing the gap between resources and breakthroughs,” she added.
The Bucks Beer Bash, sponsored by Inspire FCU, will feature more than 30 breweries, wineries, and distilleries as well as music, food, and other fun activities.
