Longtime Bucks Co. Catholic School Teacher Facing Child Porn Charges
A teacher who worked for 40 years at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School is facing child pornography charges.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — A longtime Bucks County school teacher and youth sports coach has been charged with collecting hundreds of sexually explicit images of prepubescent girls, authorities said.
At a press conference Wednesday, Bucks County District Attorney Jen Schorn said that Richard Adamsky, 65, faces felony charges of child sexual abuse material possession and criminal use of a communication facility.
The images found on electronic devices belonging to Adamsky were of girls in the same age group that he taught at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School on Street Road in Warminster, authorities said.

Adamsky has been a teacher at the school for over 40 years and was a staff member through the end of the school year, officials confirmed.
"This shakes your foundation," Schorn said. "There's no hands-on evidence and we hope and pray that's not the case."

Warminster police opened an investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children involving a possible downloading of an image depicting a prepubescent girl posing nude, court records state.
On Wednesday morning, FBI agents and local authorities executed a search warrant at Adamsky’s home. Adamsky was the only one present at the home at the time, officials said.
During questioning, Adamsky admitted to authorities that for approximately four to five years, he had been searching for, downloading, and saving hundreds of images depicting CSAM to his computer, according to a criminal complaint.
When asked how many he saved, he replied, “too many,” the complaint said.
Among the images authorities allege were found on Adamsky’s computer was a prepubescent girl exposing her genitals, which he saved on March 28, according to the District Attorney.
Adamsky was arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge Christopher O’Neill and transferred to Bucks County Correctional Center in lieu of $500,000 bail.
A phone message left at the Nativity of Our Lord school seeking comment was not immediately returned.
"He had award after award," Schorn said. "He was coaching in two different township school systems. It's so hard for parents every time a case like this happens. But you can't not allow your children to participate in sports and go to school."
Schorn said the tip came in March, but was not known to authorities until May. She expects more evidence and more charges to be forthcoming.
Adamsky was certified by the Philadelphia Archdiocese to teach religion, and was a member of the Nativity parish, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.
He was involved in boys and girls youth sports in Bucks County as a coach and a PIAA football official. He was a finalist for the Leadership in Catholic Youth Sports Award, according to his bio.
He has coached football, softball, basketball and track & field, at Nativity as well as Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, the Warrington Athletic Association, Lenape Middle School in Central Bucks, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Doylestown.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact Warminster Detective Stephen Wojciechowski at 215-672-1000.
