Prosecutors may seek the death penalty against the man accused of beheading his father in their home and calling for violent attacks against members of the federal government, authorities said. Justin Mohn was formally arraigned on Friday for allegedly killing his father in January in his Middletown Township home and posting a disturbing YouTube video holding his father’s decapitated head and calling for violent attacks against the federal government. Stray Bullet Nearly Strikes 2 Girls In Bucks Home: DA
Authorities are investigating an incident in which two girls were nearly struck by a stray bullet that entered the bedroom of a Bristol home last Thursday. The Bucks County District Attorney's Office and the Bristol Borough Police Department are investigating the incident, said Manual Gamiz, spokesman for the DA's office. Food Stamps Sparked Shooting At Bucks Co. Office: Court Records
A woman who fired shots that shattered a window of the Bucks County Assistance Office last month was angry about possibly not getting food stamps, court records state. April Campbell Precha, 37, of Bristol Township was angry that she might not be reissued a food stamp card and allegedly threatened on social media to shoot at the Bucks County Assistance Office shortly before authorities say she opened fire, according to the criminal complaint obtained by Patch. Bristol Township police state that Precha allegedly posted two threats on her Facebook page around the same time that a bullet shattered the front window of the county offices in the 1200 block of Veterans Highway on Sept. 18. School Community Mourns Truman High Secretary
The Bristol Township School Community is mourning the unexpected passing of Harry S. Truman High School Secretary Melissa Carroll. Carroll, who joined the Truman Team at the onset of the school year, passed away after being hospitalized earlier in the week. Carroll was 34 with children in district schools. Woman Charged With Aggravated Assault In Warminster Stabbing: Police
A 34-year-old township woman has been charged with a stabbing and other offenses in an incident on Monday, police said. The Warminster Township Police Department has charged Minerva Perez-Ramos with a stabbing. She was arraigned before District Justice Christopher O'Neill. Bail was set at $100,000 with 10 percent. Perez-Ramos was transported to Bucks County Prison in place of bail. (Read More)
