A land development proposal for the Kline Property on York Road will be discussed at Tuesday's Warminster Planning Commission meeting.

The land development proposal for 900 York Road will be discussed at Tuesday's Warminster Planning Commission meeting. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Residents have mobilized an effort save the home, known as the Kline Property, which sits at York and Norristown roads. The petition to Save the Kline Property has 784 signatures as of Monday night. According to advocates in favor of preserving the home, the structure has a history that extends back to the 1700s.

In March, the township granted a variance for seven homes to be built on the site.

"A museum, an educational facility, or park would be much better for the area than more housing, and better for property values. We can do something nice with a place like this, rather than destroy it," one supporter wrote on the petition.
