WARMINSTER, PA —Ivyland Borough Councilman Todd Savarese is the projected winner on the Democratic ticket for Magisterial Judge 07-01-09 in Tuesday's primary election, according to unofficial results.

With 100 percent of Bucks County's 306 precincts reporting, Savarese received 1,180 votes to challenger Mark Greiner's 1,081 votes, according to unofficial results from the Bucks County Board of Elections.

He will face Chris O'Neill, a corporal in the Warminster Township Police Department, in the November general election.

O'Neill received 2,051 votes on the Republican ticket. He also garnered 891 votes in cross-filing on the Democratic ticket.

Savarese, who also cross-filed, received 710 votes on the Republican ticket.

The winner in the November general election will replace the retiring Daniel J. Finello Jr., who has served Warminster and Ivyland since 2003.
