"The Fascinating World of Birds of Prey" a Big Hoot at Ann's Choice

Ann's Choice, an Erickson Senior Living community in Bucks County, Pa., witnessed a captivating educational event, "The Fascinating World of Birds of Prey," hosted by the resident-run Feather and Fur Babies Pet Club on January 26. The event, presented by Hawk Mountain, provided residents with a unique opportunity to explore the awe-inspiring world of raptors.

The live presentation, held in honor of Ann's Choice's mascot, Bart the Owl, showcased various birds of prey, including a captivating owl. Attendees were treated to an up-close encounter with three different live raptors, gaining insights into each species, their distinctive adaptations, and what sets them apart.

Diane Voghel, and Janet Baldwin, co-founders of the Feather and Fur Babies Pet Club, expressed their enthusiasm about the event.

"It was truly an incredible experience for everyone involved," said Voghel.

"The presence of these majestic birds added a new dimension to our understanding of nature," said Baldwin.

The Feather & Fur Babies Pet Club was established in June of 2022 and has strived not only to entertain but also to educate residents in the world of animals.

Naureen Schnee, also a co-founder, shared her thoughts, saying, "The educational aspect was enlightening, and the chance to interact with these magnificent creatures made the event even more memorable."
