The Goodman Properties/Warrington Cares Sprint Triathlon is the major fundraiser for Warrington Cares, raising over $50,000 over the past four races. Proceeds from this year’s event will provide scholarships to local high school students, provide money for local food banks/pantries, help local families in need, and provide funds to other small local non-profit organizations that help the local community. The Duathlon and Triathlon are ideally suited for persons starting out as tri-athletes and those who are training for major triathlons. Official timekeepers will be DQ Events.
“Our triathlon is an exciting event that brings participants back year after year,” said Barry Luber, Warrington Township Manager and President of Warrington Cares. “Last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic, so we are thrilled to bring it back in 2021! Whether you are an athlete or like to watch from the sidelines, we invite you to come out on September 12 to be a part of this event.”
