Greater Jamison Business Association Breakfast Seminar Slated for March 17
Topic: "IRS Federal Tax Update: What's New for 2014 and 2015"
The Greater Jamison Business Association will hold its monthly breakfast seminar on Tuesday, March 17, from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. at The Manor at York Town, 2010 York Road, Jamison, PA 18929. Special guestRichard Furlong Jr., Senior Stakeholder Liaison in the Mid-Atlantic Area Stakeholder Liaison Office of the Internal Revenue Service Small Business/Self-Employed Division,will present an IRS federal tax update for the 2014 and 2015 tax years.
The program is open to both member and non-member business professionals. The cost is $15 for non-members. Members and first time guests are free. Reservations should be made in advance by visiting www.gjba.org.

About Richard Furlong Jr.:
Richard Furlong Jr. is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison in the Mid-Atlantic Area Stakeholder Liaison office of the Internal Revenue Service Small Business/Self-Employed Division. As a stakeholder liaison, Richard serves as the primary IRS liaison to tax practitioner organizations throughout the country. Richard is a member of the PA IRS/Practitioner Liaison Council and he coordinates the annual meeting between IRS and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Each year, Richard represents the IRS at practitioner CPE sessions throughout Pennsylvania where he discusses IRS policies and procedures, tax law issues, and IRS electronic tax administration. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
