Grocery Outlet Celebrates 5 Years In Warminster

The discount store on County Line Road will mark its anniversary with festivities and giveaways on Saturday.

WARMINSTER, PA —Grocery Outlet is celebrating its fifth anniversary with festivities and giveaways at its County Line Road location on Saturday.

Festivities at the bargain market —which sells brand-name food at low prices — begin at 7 a.m. Saturday.

Owners John and Jamie Niedrist will be showing off an expansion that has allowed the store to add 1,000 new products, including expanded offerings of organics, meat, health and beauty products, and general merchandise.

At its June 20 meeting, Warminster Township Supervisors approved a conditional use application to construct an addition for the 1023 W. County Line Rd store.

Public comments supported the project. The addition did not include refrigeration, only a small HVAC unit for airflow.

On Saturday, there will be a ribbon-cutting and donation ceremony for the grand reopening at 10 a.m.

There will be a gift card giveaway, free limited reusable bags, and a drawing to win $1,000 in free groceries.

A new Grocery Outlet recently opened at the Warwick Square Shopping Center on York Road in Jamison.

Based in Emeryville, California, the Grocery Outlet has more than 400 locations in California, Idaho and the Pacific Northwest and in the Mid-Atlantic including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.

The store offers a full range of products including fresh produce, meat, deli and dairy, along with a wide assortment of natural and organic choices. It also carries health and beauty care, as well as seasonal items, the company says.
