Hatboro Federal Savings Donates $222,222
In Support Of Eight Local Community Organizations

Hatboro Federal Savings, one of the region’s leading community banks for more than 80 years, presented a total of $222,222 in grants to eight local organizations that meet the criteria for Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). The EITC allows tax credits for eligible businesses that contribute to a scholarship, educational improvement or pre-kindergarten scholarship organization.
Recipients of EITC grants included: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Buck County; Bucks County Community College Foundation; CB Cares; Centennial Education Foundation; Hatboro-Horsham Education Foundation; Union Library of Hatboro; Upper Dublin Education Foundation; and Upper Moreland Education Foundation.
Linda Roehner, CEO, Hatboro Federal Savings, takes great pride in the bank’s 80-year history of supporting the communities it serves. “Through the EITC grants, we are able to make a significant difference for local educational foundations and organizations that benefit children of all ages, especially during these difficult times. Hatboro Federal’s EITC grants provide funding for programs that deliver educational services that are greatly needed in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.” Roehner added, “When we support organizations whose missions are to enrich and enhance educational opportunities for tomorrow’s leaders - whether through special classroom programs, creative outreach programs, or state-of-the-art instructional techniques - we are helping to set the students up for success in the future.”
