LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Heavy rains overnight Sunday into Monday soaked sections of Lower Bucks County over 24 hours as officials and authorities worried about the ramifications of additional flooding due to rising creeks and rivers.
In Middletown Township, the police department expected the Neshaminy Creek to peak at 12 feet at noon Monday, bringing more potential flooding to already flooded roads and streets. Meanwhile, Yardley and Lower Makefield Township officials were warning drivers to avoid Route 32 due to potential flooding of the Delaware River.
