Ice Cream, Pigeons Return to Warminster Bakery
Meadowlark Bakery & Cafe in Warminster is seeing some feathered friends return for nesting in its outdoor patio rooftop.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Meadowlark Bakery & Cafe' is always experimenting.
With a year under its belt, the York Road bakery wants to keep customers coming back for more by offering new baked goods and expanding its menu to feature more than just pastries and breakfast.
For example, the bakery is touting its K-Fried chicken sandwich on special this weekend. It's a Panko breaded chicken breast fried and glazed in a sweet and spicy gochujang glaze, kewpie, and kimchi slaw, arugula, served on a brioche bun.

A bunch of new flavors and some classics have been added, the bakery owners said.
Customers can get one-stop meal shopping: burgers, croissants, and a scoop all in one place.
Last December, the bakery celebrated its one-year anniversary, with Owner/Chef Bryan Young adding smash burgers, a full menu covering breakfast through dinner, and expanded hours.
Those favorites that are coming back for the anniversary: Filled Brioche, Beignets, a Cubano sandwich, Portabello Bahn Mi, and more.
Young, a Maine native, specializes in a vast array of French and American specialty hearth breads, pastries, and savory cuisine.
The bakery loves returning customers —even if they are pigeons.
For the past two years, "Croissant" and her partner 'Danish' have returned to Meadowlark’s outdoor patio with a new batch of "egg-cellent offspring" to come.
"Remember to tread lightly around their cozy abode until their wee ones hatch and spread their wings," the bakery said. "That's two years running for our beloved feathered friends."
