IVYLAND BOROUGH, PA —After months of meetings and planning for its party, Ivyland will be the center of attraction Saturday as the borough celebrates its 150th anniversary.

Festivities will begin at noon Saturday with a Welcome Ceremony in which Mayor Anthony Judice will be joined by state Sen. Frank Farry, state Rep. Brian Munroe, and founding sponsor TD Bank, among others.

Organizers said residents and guests should expect a lineup of food, music, and special guests.

"We're going to do it rain or shine," 150th Anniversary committee members said in a Facebook post. "Let's hope there's more shine or at least there's very little rain."

Organizers are asking attendees to prepare for potential precipitation. They are setting up tents and canopies to provide some shelter.
